What brings you to Boston? I was born and raised in Boston!
Tell us about yourself (What are you passionate about? Any side hustles?):
I am currently in my 2nd year of the Full Time MBA program at Northeastern University focused on marketing. Eventually I plan to get into product management within lifestyle consumer brands.
In my spare time I enjoy creative projects and dabbling in graphic design. I take inspiration from different bits of my life. I am an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and my love for uplifting my community definitely moved me to start a new endeavor.
Recently, I started a new brand called BGM as a hobby/passion. BGM is a movement that is all about acknowledging and uplifting that special flare that makes us… us. The “us” in this statement refers to to Black Women. BGM leverages the power and passion behind the Black Girl Magic movement. BGM apparel is a collection of merchandise that speaks to this movement. You don’t have to be a woman to support the movement. All are welcome.
